  • All of the praise is richly deserved...I've never heard a better performance. The rubato is masterful!

  • One of my favorite Dupré pieces. Simple (or rather uncomplicated), elegant, & atmospheric: definitely a "sweet joy."

  • Oh, Joe... that was beautiful. It just ain't Christmas without this Dupre gem!

  • @Bachlives2: Yah, it IS a difficult piece. A lot going on. I still have not come close to being able to play it!

  • Thanks for viewing and your kind comments. 'Tis a pity the Steere doesn't have a real 32', only a Resultant.

  • You're interpretation is spot-on (this is a favorite Christmas piece of mine to perform, also), but I am disappointed that an organ with the scope of that Steere does not have at least one - and preferably two - dedicated 32" stops (I know you get my drift!) Play on, brother.

  • Very cool, God bless you
