Just becuase Kikyo is dead doesn't mean she can't still be in love with InuYasha and she was his first real love so the fact is he will Never Ever forget her and it's normal. Kagome and InuYasha being together for me is sort of symbolic of what he and Kikyo should have had if that bastard naraku hadn't messed everything up
