This, for me, is a brilliant example of what makes the *real* Pink Floyd so good.

This is a great rendition, near enough note perfect, but there's an emotion, a pain missing from the song (esp. the solo) which is what defines this song for me in the first place.

Technically it's great, but it can't hold a candle to Gilmour.

I hope that here Alex McNamara isn't singing................. he doesn't have the good voice to the composition Pink Floyd.

@omarvalle81 - Iv seen both before (Aussie PF a few years ago, & Brit PF last July)

I think APF's light show is MUCH more impressive; also, BPF's vocals can go bit 'wonky' at times, more so than APF. U shud check out my video of BPF doin Comfortably Numb and compare with this one for urself - u'l prob see wot I mean.

Even the original (surviving) members of Pink Floyd have endorsed APF, calling them the "best tribute band".

But BPF were still worth every penny of the £17 ticket fee!

(there is one other version that also makes me shiver - but NOT in a good way like this one - more like the kinda shivers you'd get if you were thrown into a tank full of maggots, cockroaches and pig guts! .... I'm talking about the Sister Sisters horrific cover version of it - music mutilation at its worst, almost blasphemous... I can't even bear to stay in a room where its being played! (⦿♒⦿)
