Practice your pronunciation of the french R

This is an annexe to "Learn French 6: French R". I get a lousy sound quality when I record with my mobile phone, so I made this audio version.

  • lol i can do it and i dont even take french c:

  • @CharlyRaaad yes, it is. the guttural r is a fairly broad term actually but this sound is included within the group.

  • is this called a 'guttural r'?

  • i can do an amatuer r sound but it only works on easy words like tres and quatre. I still need help working on those rs

  • For some reason I find saying 'arrete de rire!' with the english pronunciation kind of hilarious

  • i love the ending "aurevoir" (plus american accent)

  • I can do the exaggerated fine, but I can't do the articulated and casual :(

  • I can do it perfectly :LL

  • i can do it..

  • ...Yeah I think when I go to France they'll just have to deal with the english r :3.
