@astralwalk I dont doubt that. I'm not saying the Celts have no culture, but people seem to forget that the Romans called them "barbarians" for a reason. In my opinion Rome is the lesser of two evils.

@CrimsonGuard1992 The Celts had their own civilization and culture.

@TheGreaterGood80 Sorry but i think you watch to many hollywood movies where you see the romans being the bad guys or where christianity is put down for nothing but yes i understand that christianity had some struggle between pepole in europe but that does not affect the faith itself in christ and some evil warlords just took up christendom for excuse to attack other lesser countries wich is not the true meaning of christ. Anyway Romans were used to want peace and civilize others.
-
@RGBRYN what the hell? Do you have any idea the brutality and atrocities that Romans brought upon their subjugated peoples? And when did christianity "end hate" between Europeans?
-
"Watching!" Failing.....

This clip seriously made me nearly cry... I mean they just wanted to bring peace and civilize other pepole. They also brought up the word of christ to keep pepole good to each other, without hate. Rest in peace brave soldiers of Rome, you were truly the light in these dark times.

that centurion has the best voice ever

@StrangerQuark You're right, but just seeing someones head split open is just rare in battles haha
-
@LMtorezGAM3909 Actually that probably hurt less than all the others. Having your head horizontally chopped in two would be one of the better ways to go I'd say, for both painlessness and awesomeness.

Hmm ... I wonder why this movie was rated R?
In memory of the 9th, 17th, 18th, and 19th Legions. And all other Legions who met similar fates.
Rest in peace brave soldiers of Rome. They deserved better. Having fought wars to bring civilization to the world in a time of chaos and turmoil against the barbarian hordes.

picts comes from the Latin PICTI which means painted people. I think you can see why the Romans gave them that name.
