@suporcool If its plates then the N.America continent includes parts of Russia, Iceland, and Japan. There would be a Caribbean continent, Hawaii is a continent(pacific plate), India/Middle east are 2continets, and the west coast of S.America is its own continent(Nazca plate).
Scientist fails on this one. There is no clear definition.

LOL THE COSTUME'S ARE FROM EVERY VIDEO HE'S DONE BEFORE THEN

so as long as im speaking Germany im still right? well i guess that means im sticking to english. well maybe french, i have family there. And spanish, im in cali gotta know that. Chinese would be cool too, for once they invade and all. But definetly no German.... but what about the beer.... FUCK IT!! LEARN ALL THE LANGUAGES!!!!!!!!!
-
@suporcool Well I guess its a language-problem. You're right, in the english language "Americas" would be the word to describe both subcontinents. But in germany you would never say the word "Americas" but simply use "America".
-
There really are very clear defintions. Its all about plate boundaries. There are different plates for both north and south america and since every other countinent is defined by the plate that it is on, it would be nonsensical to combine north and south america. Not like it would really matter to anyone really but its about the consistency in the definition. Scientists like precision and reliablilty.

Well, lets check that wiki page. Ah, heres something. "...while America refers almost exclusively to the United States of America" Its on wikipedia, it must be true!!!! YOU JUST GOT WIKIPediaied!!? But my point again is that they are seperate continents and niether of them or the combination of them is called "America" and since no other place claims the name to just America it is fully reasonable to call the USA simply America.

I would love to have that vw bus near the end.
@B11590 Nope, hes correct. America is a continent. U.S.A is a country.
