I saw Hunger Games a decade ago it was called Battle Royale

Yeah I read the books when they were called "The long Walk" and "The Running Man"

The Hunger Games is literally a combination of those two books, and The Long Walk was literally the first book he ever wrote and The Running Man was written in a week.

Although King reviewed the book well he said: "Also, readers of Battle Royale (by Koushun Takami), The Running Man, or The Long Walk (those latter two by some guy named Bachman) will quickly realize they have visited these TV badlands before."

I thought it fucking sucked. The chicks was hot. I got absolutely no libertarian themes from it. It was interesting to see how unrefined the movie was to show how we could be in a one world government.

You didn't get it Adam because it is a trashy neoliberal Gaga matriarchal film, written by a lady miserablist. In this 'dystopian' (lol, with lovely trees and nature all around and you can still hunt an antelope) world, melodrama is how people are controlled, by a weird androgynous tranny lady blabbing.
