This was my adventure for 2007, flying the L-39 military jet on October 8 in Burbank, California. Dave Riggs was the pilot and allowed me to fly to the Edwards AFB canyons and do some rolls. He flew through the canyons at 90 degree angles (think Star Wars) and flew at 0.8 Mach (750 km/h) 6 FEET off the deck! It was a 45 minute thrill of a lifetime.

  • Thank you, sir. I have my Fighter Pilots USA aerial combat vid to load to YouTube yet and my Caribbean reef shark feeding scuba dive to load to YouTube. I have an adventure every year (I'm now 60) and recently ran the Obstacle Course at Marine Corps Officer Candidate School where I did it in 1970. Made it over every obstacle, the red wall and up the rope. Sore for 3 days afterwards but the spirit was shining! Thank you for helping to protect democracy in England.

  • u fly nice,is that u jop?

  • Nope, just a 60 year old former Marine Corps Captain looking for an adventure once a year!

  • I'm now 60 years old but have been having an annual adventure since I first joined the U.S. Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1970. You've got your whole life ahead of you. Have a blast!

  • Problem is to get to the cockpit, the tests and studieng you have to do are very hard. Like, you need to do written tests on the ground about the plane, phisics etc. and then you must do it in the air like for example trying to pilot the aircraft without any computers/machines working, and also do a ejection test on the ground with an equipment i think. So it all hard to get into that seat, BUT you must remember that if you really wanna do THAT then you gotta do it, thats ur life for 40 years.

  • Is this one affordable too?

  • Nice ride! I'm a pilot myself at 14 with 80 hours and am hoping to go into Air Force for tanker division. My brother is in Army Military Intelligence and really likes it so he's giving me advice. Any advice for a young a pilot?

  • thx i will!=]
