i have a very important question, my computer only slides the side of from the left side not right, will this make any difrence?

Useful vid bro! Im gonna be attempting this myself today after buying a DV camcorder that I didn't realise wouldn't just slot into my USB port! So I bought a firewire cable and card and will attempt to install it today, although im a complete technological moron and will probably wreck something! lol cheers

Will this work for a HP Touchsmart610 computer since it one of those all in one computers and has no tower because mine came with no firewire?

@Abnormal96SK8ER No, there are no PCI slots in those computers, and it would not fit. It may be possible to get a firewire card for an expansion slot if your computer has one. Sorry, I'm not very familiar with the Touchsmart.

Hi, Should I follow this procedure to install an 8 ports pci 5x usb and 3xIEEE 1394? What are the internal ports for? Thanks!

@avenusiana yeah. the ports inside? It could be a number of things, depending on what kind of ports they are. Check the specs or documentation.
