The new 125 Gallon drilled aquarium just arrived. I opted for the flow towers in the middle of the tank VS the corners of the tank. I did this because, even though they take up a little more room, each tower will allow for 600 gallons per hour of flow, so I can move as much as 1,200 gallons per hour throughput on the tank with this setup. I will try to do a little more in depth tour of the tank soon, and I plan on doing a video explaining the plumbing I have planned for this. On a side note, I am going to be a father for the first time any day now (and I couldn't be more excited) so if there is a delay between the next video or two, please forgive me. I promise I am not giving up on this, I just may not be able to keep up the pace of a new video every 2-3 days like I have been. Many thanks to all those who are subscribing and commenting. It makes this whole process much more fun!

  • lol you sounded like hotdoghee when you said hi everybody in the beginning.....just thought id put that out there haha

  • Of course I did! Everything I do, I do it to be more like hotdoghee!

  • I just purchased that same tank and I'm in the process of setting it up. My lighting selection is 3x72" vho(2xdaylight, 1 454 super actinic). I'm very excited, you probably can say the same lol The gravity fed siphon is the way to go...no more sucking on airline tubes to start a siphon hehe One thing I would advise you do is quarantine all your fish. I'm dealing with this problem right now. Totally sucks!! :( How many lbs of live rock/live sand r u going to incorporate?? Keep us posted man

  • Wow Prodigy - BIG congrats. I can't wait to see what you do with yours. I really didn't mind my over the back siphon. It never failed on me, not a single bubble for over a year, but every single person I spoke to told me that it only a matter of time. I am considering getting a larger nano tank which I may use as a quarantine tank. Right now I have 130 pounds of live rock, I may add another 30, but with the towers in this tank, it leaves me with a little less room. We will see.

  • getting ever so closer, and congratz on being a dad :D

  • Thanks GPrime!

  • Nice tank.

May I ask why you put the pipping to the sump like that? It would be more effective to have the the tanks outlet pipe to deliver water above the first chamber rather than in the side like that.

  • Hi Can you please tell me where you buy it from I am on the east cost (New York) Thanks

  • Did you buy that tank online and have it shipped ? Must have cost you a fortune.

  • awesome channel man! where did you get your tank i want that same exact one!
