My twins were born at 27 weeks also. We had the benefit of 3 weeks of steroids to help mature their lungs before birth, I was on T-Bird bed rest for 3 weeks. Lyra weighed 1lb 13 3/4 oz, and Rigel weighed 2lbs 2 1/2 oz. Lyra did much better then her brother. Rigel dropped down to 1lb 10oz before he started growing and thriving. Just wanted you to know your video journey is wonderful. Gave me flash backs! As my twins are a very big 12 years old now! Congratulations on your beautiful son!

You will be in my prayers...the NICU can be a very long road; however, in no time it will be a distant memory. Last night infact (on St. Patrick's Day) we were celebrating Nate's come home day exactly 3 years ago. You would NEVER even know he was under 2 pounds at birth. All I can say is do all the Kangarooing and hands on containment during cares you can. It helps everyone so much. Good luck and best wishes.
