Bathurst ecologist Ray Mjadwesch spent the day on October 6, 2009, trying to convince the local council that it was wrong to shoot 140 kangaroos ahead of the Bathurst Supercheap 1000 V8 car race on the weekend. The council shot the kangaroos because of fears that they might endanger drivers by jumping onto the track. Video by Tracy Sorensen. Music by Ray Mjadwesch and Matt Hale.
What about trees ? One of them got Brockie !!
Spose Bathurst council will clear all the trees from Mount Panorama next.
I'd rather have 150 Kangaroos still hopping around alive and free than those moron rev heads racing around in circles all day trying to prove which ones got the biggest Willie .
Wankers one and all !!!

If it comes down to a friggin bunch of bogans pissing on and being badly influenced by speed and leaving Kangaroos alone to live in the bush, fuk the car race shame on Bathurst city council for allowing the kull .
Speed kills not wildlife.
Every young speeding driver that ends up killing themself or taking others with them can in part be blamed on the influences motor racing has on the young and impressionable.
Fence the track Bathurst council and leave Aussie wildlife alone.

Kangaroos don't kill us, they don't hunt us, they don't shoot us, they mostly are afraid of public places especially when there's a crowd and noise around so why Bathurst, why?
