A Headache in the Pelvis with Rodney Anderson M.D. Professor of Urology - Co-Author. Discusses pelvic pain issues based on the Stanford Protocol. The 'Stanford Protocol" is a new treatment developed and researched in the Department of Urology at Stanford University. Dr. Rodney Anderson and David Wise PHd are Stanford University School of Medicine Co-Authors of the book "A Headache in the Pelvis".

According to the Headache in the Pelvis website "The pioneering insight of the Wise-Anderson Protocol is that muscle related pelvic pain is caused by chronic contraction or spasm of the muscles of the pelvic floor. This contraction is perpetuated by a self feeding cycle of tension, anxiety, pain and protective guarding."
