Description: The following series of videos contain basic vinyl application techniques, and are designed for beginners who have no experience with applying vinyl to sign substrates. The video is shown in it's entirety, but has been broken into (4) sections to allow for YouTube placement.

The video assumes that you understand how to use your vinyl cutting software and vinyl cutter, and have finished cutting out the vinyl graphics. They show you how to weed the cut vinyl, as well as how to apply premask. Next, they will teach you how to apply the letters to the substrate. The vertical hinge method, and the horizontal hinge method, is featured. Use of the wet method is also highlighted. Proper use of common signmaking tools, such as squeegees, brayers, premask systems, etc., make the whole process of applying vinyl clear and understandable. As a bonus it describes the different types of vinyl, cast or calendared, and explains when you use each. Specialty vinyls are also shown.

does the sign viynl have self adhesive then? and is there any special requirments when applying to banners?
