  • That's some great playing and great tone man! I also had a question about the G Major: How's the preset switching on that? I'm seriously considering buying a G Major II but I want instant patch changing via midi, with as little delay possible. I just need the G Major II to switch effects with spillover of delays, and I won't be using the units amp switching function, I have a separate switcher for my Mesa MK IV. Thanks for any advice you can give! Rock on.

  • @entr0py1

Thanks a lot for your positive comments! From what I remember the G-Major's switching is pretty fast (faster than my Rocktron Xpression I think). For the past couple of years I normally just leave one patch on and have it in the loop just for the bright clean and the lead channels of the Quad-X though.

  • nice gear and nice playing,i've got the same pre amp and bought it few days a go used, did you ever tryied the channel effect loop , and what it does?thanks.

  • @nuaurea Yes I have. The channel effects are effects loops just for the channel in question. I generally just use the master fx loop but, have used channels 3's loop with a boost pedal before to make it sound a little better to my ears.

  • Hi.

    Nice sound.

Do you know any pc editor for g-force ? Like RealMajor for Gmajor.

    Thanks

  • @rui2amorim Thank you! I don't know about one for the Force, only for the major and the system, sorry.

  • Man, thanks for the compliment!

  • Hmm. They're quite different. I would buy 1 and 1 if it were me.

  • how is the baker compared to a prs should i buy 2 types of prs or a baker and a prs

  • It's just that I use channel 4 of the Quad X-Amp just for leads so that's why there's only lead type stuff in this vid as I didn't have a footswitch plugged in to channel switch on the fly. I'll do another vid of the other channels. The clean on this thing is AMAZING!
