HD movies from the Moon - KAGUYA 「かぐや」による月面ハイビジョン撮影

The Moon Image by the Onboard HDTV of the Lunar Probe "KAGUYA"
The image taking was performed twice on October 31. Both were eight-fold speed intermittent shooting (eight minutes is converged to one minute.) The first shooting covered from the northern area of the "Oceanus Procellarum" toward the center of the North Pole, then the second one was from the south to the north on the western side of the "Oceanus Procellarum."

I found the original Clips on the Jaxa-homepage and these are 720p. Here the max. Resolution I can chose is 480p (640x480px). I would be surprised if you can chose higher, can you?

nokilt1, hypothetically, there could be military observational equipment. However, if this were true, US violated the international non-militarization of space treaty [1969], and there would be an outcry from other nations. Please have a closer look at these blurry sections: Althouth the shown patches are huge, there are NO SHADOWS. Then the shapes are either (near) triangular, rectangular, or composed from it. That's rather indicative for US Navy's the defective data replacement claim.

i hear you sacha4you, but having looked at those photos off the official site, i can tell you that at least a couple you can see something poking out from behind the edge of the smudging

could just as easily be military hardware as 'alien'

nokilt1, yes Sir, I'm rather familiar with the Clementine imagery. However, before you swallow the alien-bases-airbrushed-out-sna­ke-oil UFO/conspiracytainment industry serves you, I'd read the readme-section of the clementine browser: There is explained to full lenghts, data-gaps and erronous data have been completed with lower resolution data from alternative sources. For UFO crazies, neither familiar with digital image processing nor shadows, the result looks similar to a airbrush work.

you can see stars in shuttle and space station footage, why not here?

as they circle the moon any photo contrast argument goes out the window

lots of those photos have been modified

i had followed links to them as a non-believer like yourself, and became convinced photos have been airbrushed

the only question remains is what did they airbrush out

its not an evil misleading hoax unless you count NASA as evil and misleading
