are the old style suffolk availible in the U.S. ? my father inlaw says this is the way they used to look. we have the newer breed with the longer legs.

If you search -"2008 Maricopa County Fair Champion Suffolk Market Lamb"- is just one of the auctions I found on Youtube. It shows the fair champ selling for about $1500.

What the heck are you talking about? We have about a hundred at our place alone in Idaho. Many ranches have suffolk in the U.S. they are one of the preferred lambs for shows and fairs. We run mostly Dorsetts for meat lambs. There are many Suffolk ram lambs that sell for big money as fair stock. Sometimes $15,000 and up for the right ram lamb.
