the new camaros suck. there slow way to heavy. the new 5.0 walks the shit out of them. wake up and realize that gm products suck. they always have and always will. the mustang will eat that camaro for a snack and eat the challengers for dinner.

@MrMarkpark I'd say once the cobra got back on it, he clearly walked away. The new camaro can't keep up with a late 1990s cobra at the drag strip...no traction. An 03 will put it down without much effort.

@Acuravigor47 looks to me like the Cobra stayed out front...can't really tell at the end. Yeah the Camaro caught up but until the very end you can tell the Cobra stayed out front.

@Acuravigor47 wow ill say granted the winner at the end isnt clear cut. but it is certainly obvious the camaro slept, so cobra either thought he wasnt gonna race or wait for him to catch up ive raced that wait, waiting for someone to catch up is a huge disadvantage, so staying next to him was still awsome. second, old cobra or not, that car is far more capable and proven than the new camaro. thats why you pay just as much for an "old" cobra as you do a new camaro. sorry just saying

The camaro got him.All these guys still trying to make excuses for the mustang losing. That old cobra doesnt have a chance to a modded-tuned new ss. Sorry just saying.

im not even a domestic tuner, but its simple logic that year SVT's does 12's stock with that 390whp and weighing over 400 less. for ever 200 lbs you shave thats .2 off your 1/4. 390whp + 400 lbs lighter.. compared to the measly 360whp and godzilla like twinky eating mass.. your not gona beat that cobra in a 0-60ft nor a damn quarter.
I hope everyone who's leaving a message is an adult, who own, or have driven multiple cars and are trying to give a honest opinion. we are all car folks here-
