@sssoaring2 Those Cessna Locks are from them cheap things lol..and do't forget to close the door at passengers side well or you won't have FLAPs ..it happend once ..but TOM the Pilot managed to take off full loaded with no flaps..if it was a 182..he would shurely crash..he did not check the right back door of the cessna --it holds a switch that controles the flaps just like a cardooor controlles the interrior Light when open and close..this pilot error can kill you on a short runway full load
Well i know this situation..as we had 2 Cessna's 206 in Suriname The PH TAC and PZ TAO (both dont excist anymore..but at that time we loaded the planes for Bush flights and when i was done loading ..we pushed the tail to the ground and if it came up again -then it was ok..ofcourse not over loading it with Fuel and stuff
My step-dad keeps making fun of me as well when I do stupid things like failing to get out of the airplane (in my defence the door was quite stiff, and I didnt want to put too much force on it).

At least you will crash tail first when you stall and cannot recover.

Even if it touches the ground as long as it comes off when you start up... you're still fine.
