  • @pupethedruid Of course there are males, if not the species would be asexual. Anthias can change gender from female to male and as such switch from having a pair of ovaries to a pair of testes. To say there is no such thing as a male is just plain wrong. The male is usually larger with a different coloration and sometimes with an extended dorsal fin.

  • A whopping 500 gallons and yet they fight over territory... sheesh.

  • AWW you see dory in the background

  • theres no such thing as "male anthias" they are gender neutral.

  • SWIM DORY SWIM!!

  • @donsjuand So I guess thats why one of my male fish killed one of my other fish

  • In nature, when this happens, they fight in order to determine who keeps they're gender. There can only be one male.

  • shouldny u seperate the fish befoer the kill eachother

  • Those two males will continue to fight until one of them gets sick from the stress and dies.

  • Looks like they're doing some underwater dancing...
