@troythebigbadboy45 if you don't have a jail broken iPod touch or iPhone follow these steps
1. double tap the home button while you're at the home screen
2. when the submenu pops up tap and hold an app until you see a minus symbol on the top left corner of the app
3. tap on the minus symbol.
That kills any app running in the background. Hopefully that helps.
