  • Hemi-schmemmy....trailer queen pussy. A local guy drives his hemi '69 Charger 500 to any show closer than 100 miles from home. Trailers are for boats.

  • The guy lived more than 100 miles away from this show. Plus, it was raining, so cut him a little slack.

  • haha amen to that

  • cars are meant to drive not sit in the garage regadless of what it is we have a 68 charger and we drive it alot ..well not to ther grocery store kause of door dings...... and such but you know what im sayin btw i know ur commernt is 2 yrs old lol

  • ow trust me I know got a 68 cougar 72 cutlass and a 78 monte carlo and I would drive the shit out of them lol I was just talking about SpecialKLSX comment about it he says it only holds sedimental value and hes far from the truth on that one lol

  • You are missing the point of owning a car, the point is to drive it and have fun, HE knew the risks of taking it out and doing that and it got damaged, it can be fixed and it cost alot to own a colleter car as it is. I spent more than $30 grand resoring my 68 charger, but is still drive it.

  • no but its worth more than some art piece. and cars are way better and I wouldnt want to ruin it in any way either.

  • I agree with you. Take a 318 or a 383 car, and make a hemi clone, and enjoy it. but, to take a very rare car, and destroy it doesn't make sense. They are art in the sence, that many people want them, and there were very few made.

  • all i no was when i looked car up in the dictionary it said something about driving them LOL

  • You guy's miss the point. This was an original Hemi roadrunner, with original paint. You can never fix this, without it loosing it's survivor status, with a big cut in value. I guess you think this guy should paint his original hemi charger orange, and start jumping trains.

  • Depends on the damage. If the body panel needs replaced, then those tend to go for alot of money.

Besides, when a car sells for $100k, it holds alot more than sentimental value.

  • Why? Because it's a old rust bucket that only holds sedimental value? Honestly, it's a car. Not some priceless piece of art. If someone backs into it it's metal dents can be hammered out.
