@WinchesterDelta1 Bravo Two Zero is the callsign for the mission, not the group of soldiers. And how do you know the SAS soldiers did more missions in Iraq? They're so secret nobody knows when the missions are going on. So don't call me a moron when you don't know yourself.

Some appalingly bad knowledge by people here. 3 teams were inserted - but due to bad weather 2 bugged out, whilst callsign Bravo 2-0 remained. They were discoverd by goatherders and fought a running battle all day, then ran to the syrian border. Three died of hypothermia, one (chris ryan) escaped into syria and all the others in the 8 man patrol were captured.

@ImFuturePara Actually, though Bravo Two Zero was the callsign for their mission, it was not for the entire mission as there were other teams with other callsigns who took on a similar mission that was all part of the same total operation but Bravo Two Zero was the famous one because it was the only one that went wrong. Personally it annoys me how publicised the SAS has become, although details are kept secret. e.g. a daily mirror front page once read "Secret SAS ops in Libya" Not anymore! ;P
