This is Tommy helping Hedwig realize that it's not his genitals that are mutilated, it's his soul and his sense of self. This is Tommy psychoanalyzing Hedwig and helping him sort it out. And he realizes that he's taken something vital to Hedwigs soul with the theft of the songs, more than just the sucess. And Hedwig realizing that he's still a man regardless of his junk being gone and he can love as a man, he's losing his drag queen persona as he doesn't need it, he gives the wig to his wife.

Para mí, la finalidad de la canción es muy clara: Hedwig, en el tema "El origen del amor" habla de que hay alguien destinado para uno. Sin embargo, Tommy le muestra que no; "No cosmic lover pre-assigned", además de lo que menciona TRUNKSB. Esto genera un detonante en Hedwig y hace que se ecnuentre a sí mismo chocando con la realidad y aceptándola como es. Excelente película. Excelentes canciones. Gracias por subirla. Saludos!

buenísima pelicula,le encontré un día que estaba de niñera en el cable, y me encanto. Desde ahi no he parado de buscarla (pero no sabía el nombre). Ahora necuentro las canciones wuuaa! oh my god! muchas gracias por subirlas!, EXCELENTE pelicula.

Lloré cuando una persona con la que llevaba 6 años de relación acabamos; fue un día terrible. Esa misma noche vi esta película y la sentí realmente intensa, la sentí honesta y creo que entiendes a Hedwig, sientes el dolor del personaje mas cuando has vivido de cerca un sentimiento como es el amor (aunque suene cursi)

i first saw this movie when i was around 14. i fell in love with this song immediately. i am now 22 and have been listening to this song throughout the years. it has a new meaning every time. incredible.
