Its also unfair for him to get all the blame for the game when the Bears lose cause he still can improved I know he has what it takes to be great but people wont give him a chance and its not Rex himself that he messes up sometimes,its that entire offensive line that messes up and there not protecting Rex. @rloebe34 LOL... Hows that sound looking back now? Rex was 6 foot tall, and immobile. Name one other QB in NFL history who has every been successful with a build like that? In 2006 the Bears O-line was widely considered tops in the NFL. The Bears running game was also ranked towards the top of the NFL. Not to mention two receivers close to a thousand yards in Berrian and Muhhamad. Oh, and only the best D in football. I like Rex alot actually, however saying he had no support is beyond ridiculous

Rex was awesome, he just had absolutely no support from the fanbase or from the team.

No O-line other than Kreutz.

No RB other than Thomas Jones (at times).

No WRs.

And no fan support whatsoever.

if grossman had as much time as him, rex would be scoring so many TD's, but no they give rex like 2 seconds then he gets sacked and gets blamed for the o-line being so shitty

You sir, actually know football and I respect what you say. I totally agree 100%. he had no running game, no blocking and shitty receivers. Grossman excells at the play action pass, and with no running game we never could contribute to that. Not to mention our rb's couldn't handle a blitz pickup. But if Rex gets his shot this year with this offensive line and a talented running back , I damn well believe he will be better than orton.
