In my opinion, it would be better to inject all the garbage,(which are still form of a fuel)back to empty cavities af fossile fuel,which r as big as oceans,when these oceans of fossile fuels r empty or all pumped out,and still hold other organs,which could brake down the garbage into the fuel again faster,and reused without damaging the autmosphier,as I we know earth is closed system and everything is interchangeable,after all empty cavities may cause titanic plates movements,my first idea maybe
