Presque Rien - a love story

First love for Mathieu from the Sébastien Lifshitz film Presque Rien set to "Slip Into Something More Comfortable" by Kinobe.

Presque Rien is a film about first love and what can happen when it goes wrong. What actually goes wrong between Mathieu and Cedric is not spelled out, we the viewers are left with quite a bit of work to do filling in the gaps in the story. Stéphane Rideau is terrific as the sexually confident seducer Cedric but it is Jérémie Elkaïm as the shy, hesitant, introspective Mathieu who tugs at our heartstrings as he suffers the fallout of his failed first romance.

@ochrosia To clear this up, as I wrote in the description, the music is by Kinobe and the song is called Slip into something more comfortable which was a single in 2001. Kinobe sampled the original music from Engelbert Humperdinck's From here to eternity.

here in the US a movie like this would make noooo money whatsoever, because majority of americans are narrow minded neanderthals (and i'm sure there are some in europe also)

@ochrosia The music is by the Irish composer Perry Blake. There are 5 tracks on the soundtrack album but I don't know which this is, sorry.

Sounded like John Barry on first hearing. Oh he of the Bond film histrionics and Midnight cowboy, but it ain't him, it's Blake. Some is from his other album 'Still Life.'
