@LenovoFightsPoverty Because that would require the laptop to have a GPS module in it. That would require the cooperation of both Lenovo AND the GPS providers, the latter of the 2 would probably charge for it. that means that Lenovo might have to charge, making it a subscription service and thus not as popular.
Also if you put gps in MY DAMN LAPTOP I'LL KILL YOU. YOU HAVE MY PHONE, MY CAR, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT??

I saw on the notebook how it was receiving the message or whatever in that window. will the person with the laptop be able to close that window so they wont get locked down? and can you disable the laptop if it is off? or as soon as ou log on next it locks it down?
