Presentation by Randy Olson, Prairie Starfish Productions. How can the conservation community best harness the power of the media to disseminate conservation science findings to reach a broader audience? How can conservation organizations do a better job of capturing the public's attention and influencing positive behavioral changes?
Olson, author of Don't Be Such a Scientist: Talking Substance in an Age of Style, earned his Ph.D. at Harvard University and became a professor of marine biology before moving to Hollywood for his second career as a filmmaker.
WWF is always looking for new ways to advance the scientific foundation that supports our global conservation work. Learn more about the Fuller Symposium and the Kathryn Fuller Science for Nature Fund: http://www.worldwildlife.org/science/...
