Air Rifle Pellet Sizer purchased from PMCB.co.uk.
Use the Pellet Sizer to form (or swage) pellets to correct dimensions. Pellets do vary in size very slightly from the manufacturer. By sizing pellets before you use them you know they are all of the same diameter. You also greatly reduce or eliminate damaging the pellet when inserting it into your breech, as pushing factory pellets into the breech and you can misshape the pellet/skirt or insert it at an angle - and this will affect accuracy. You also save some thumb pain as the pellets are easier to push into the breech as you are now not sizing them with your finger.

  • Is this item for sale? UK shipping?

  • @rushymoto I don't make it or sell it... I just reviewed it .. goto pmcb.co.uk to purchase

  • what exactly is the hole dimension (metric please). how thick is the sizer.. can i have its dimensions if u dont mind.. i want to make one. nice vid man, thanks

  • @jenazi you can see that it is engraved on the Sizer itself... 5.00 mm = .20 cal

    The unit is:

    OD = 75mm

    ID 66mm (this is so it can sit ontop of a small pellet tin to collect sized pellets.)

    H = 25.4mm

    The holes are tapered and drilled with a reamer - so as you push pellets through, the head and skirt are swaged to a uniform size. Top part of hole will be larger than bottom of hole. Botom of hole will be minimum 5.00mm but something like 5.02-5.05mm would allow a comfort fit into breech.

  • Good idea but id like just one hole there may be slight variations in hole sizes

  • Re-sizing every pellet seems to be some work, while not beeing an expert, I believe in the gain in accuracy and consistency. It might very well be worth it, but.

    Using a shallow tin poses two problems. You may crush an already re-saped pellet when pushing the tool to the bottom and, from what I hear in the video, you slam the bottom wich may widen the skirt and damage the head on impact.

    Why not use a deeper jar even fitted with a paper funnel so that the amo don't fall hard on the bottom?

  • @gigitt, thanks man, can i also have the probe tip dimension? thanks again!
