I would be playing this right now if it weren't for the stupid and ugly changes they made to the character graphics.

The names are different because when Working Designs translated the SCD version they changed most of the names except Pottle's. The names you see in this video are the original names.

It's cool that the music is somewhat the same. But why are the names of the characters, towns, caves, victory music and in battle graphics all different. THe original on the Sega Cd system is so much better. But i'd probably still buy this if i had an iphone just for shits and giggles. Eventhough i still have a working sega cd and copy of the game to play instead.

I'm currently considering this. I'm a huge fan of Phantasy Star, and this looks similar in many ways. I cant get over the BIG FEET in the battle scenes though... WTF were they thinking?!

K.. WTB Iphone :).. This for Ipod Touch also?

looks cool, i played the sega cd version and got all the way to the end but never beat it because i moved out and things went into storage. then my sega cd was disassembled!! i ripped my CD as an img to my PC but kega fusion emu won't save my data :/ bummer. i'll have to check this out.
i will say one thing about it that sucks though, the equip menu sucks ballllllllllssssssssssssss. and the new voiced over intro + different dialogues can suck a fat one also.

I recommend this for any JRPG fan, that doesn't mind going retro.
I have it on my iPhone and I love it.

I have the original Sega CD disk and the voice acting is different! I can't wait to get this and see all the improvements.

That's incredible! All of that gameplay on just an iPhone/iPod Touch, that is unbelievable. When I get my iTunes card this weekend, this gonna be the game I gonna buy!
