Mount&Blade Castle Siege

Gameplay footage of a castle battle against Rhodok infantry using dismounted Swadian Knights and Sword Sisters.

I personally prefer Swadia because they get great knights and versatile troops (militia can upgrade to infantry, sharpshooters or knights).
You can get Sword Sisters by fully upgrading Peasant Women. They are worth it.

Yes, Mount & Blade has some weird physics. However, I cant run because I have nothing in Athletics skill (as noted in the video), and falling from heights incurs damage (sometimes enough to kill enemies unlucky enough to get knocked back).

any hints for how to easily upgrade ladies?

For the most part, plenty of Trainer skill will help.

All other times, just go into battles that you know you can win (preferably infantry-only enemies). Use a cavalry charge to destroy the enemy while your women march. Do not let them near the enemy! They will share the battle exp at the end of combat, so they have no need to be in the frontlines anyway until they become Sword Sisters.

Lol nice video, I was big fan of thief too, finished all of them 1 2 3 many times, sad thing is that i didnt get thief gold anywhere so this one remains mystery for me :P

@argorn8778 HMMM well to get money I just attacked enemy armies 100-200 people and looted all their stuff as well as getting as many as possible prisoners. Also did all the tournies I could whilst betting on myself. Oh and I did a few big quests for the king of nords getting me 20k so overall I had 200k to which I treated myself to lordly iron greaves and lordly plate armour. Oh and to get better troops I just recruit loads and they outnumber the enemy atm I have 50 swadian knights and various

I have 2 more questions. 1st, how do you get more money? second, how do you get soldiers that are more than just peasants and villagers? how do you get men who are actually trained?

@argorn8778 you just become "unconscious" and the enemy may take you prisoner and travel around for a few days until you automatically escape. you lose some items and stuff like that.
