WBHS Class of '87 Chiming in.... was a K - 5 'Grad' of South Bay back in the day. I want all my fellow alumni to remember.... 'South Bay' may be hurt badly, but she lives in all of our memories. So long as we remember, she lives on. As much as much as it hurts to see her go like this, better she went in a way that no one was hurt.
Good luck on the reconstruction! I want to come back to see her healed soon.

best elementary school in history god bless this school and the kids and everyones memoriessss i went here graduated 2001 this was the best school in west babylong <3 forever gunna live the memories over and over again "one and eagle always an eagle" never forget <3

OMG i never been there but it seems so sad i mean if my old schools burned down i would cry because thats where i made friends i learned stuff and did exciting things live on south bay!!!

this is so sad i went to south bay from 1995-1998 i have a lot of great memories from that school the teachers i moved from school to school and no school can comppre to south bay elementary

I went to Souuthbay from 1959 to 1964 when they open JFK. A lot of old memories. So Sad!! I still live in Babylon. "Once an EAGLE, Always an EAGLE"!!

My daughter,who is a second grader at Tooker Avenue wants to write this:
"This video made me so sad. I hope they can rebuild it. I hope the kids have a good time at the church tomorrow."
At least the kids weren't at the school at the time of the fire. I don't want to imagine!!
