Dogs have two small sacs just on the inside of their butts called anal sacs. The sacs normally empty when the dog poos, but sometimes they don't. When they fill up to a point that is irritating, the dog will scoot along the floor. Take your doggie to the vet to see if full anal sacs are what's making her scoot. It's a very simple procedure and does not hurt the dog at all. It can be done right away. Hope this helps! (I work in a vet clinic :)
