I loved David Platt. When I first got into football (roughly 1992) he was Englands best player, what with Gazza's constant injuries and Shearer had yet to become the player he was. Platt was our best player by far between 92-95. Scored an amazing amount of goals from MF and it wasnt like today back then where midfielders score left, right and centre
