I'm proud to call Clyde and all the Junkyard Jazz group my friends. I am a better clarinet player because of Clyde and now I'm trying to be a sax player like Clyde! Junkyard Jazz has my vote for the Kansas Music Hall of Fame! Congratulations to all of you.

Clyde is a wonderful friend of music and musicians, and Junkyard Jazz deserves a place in the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. My brothers have both played drums with the group for many years, and even I have occasionally squawked some notes on my clarinet during visits to Lawrence KS. Clyde and his bandmates always graciously welcomed amateurs like me -- thanks for many happy times!
