  • It's a lot of money to spend again. But the one function that I've been hoping for is the ability to game with my friends who are thousands of miles away. Because I'd rather play D&D then WOW

  • That's it kids.. you don't even need to get out of the house anymore. Just sit at home and virtually socialize. No need for physical contact. Funk free D&D for all. *sigh*

  • It's not finished yet. They'll have it up for download on the website when its finished I think.

  • Can i play that version? I mean in my pc. I saw a version but it's like WoW i want to play the same i play in the board game like in the video.

  • Gary Gygax must be turning over in his fucking grave! They took an awesome system (3.5e) and totally shit on it! The whole 4e system is crap! They dumbed-up the entire sytem it seems to better fit the younger, more stupid crowd I believe! Fucking pathetic-ass version of D&D. 3.5 RULES! 4e sucks donkey-balls, end of story.

  • While it is great that people can link across the world and play online, I am far more excited about my friends and I opening our laptops and tracking combat, light sources, spell effects, AUTOMATICALLY, so we can focus on our characters.

I don't play RPGs to memorize rulebooks. I play to have fun. Anything that keeps me from having to track every damn thing in combat (or to lug a massive wipe-off grid map and a thousand miniatures on the D.C. metro every Sunday) is a welcome change to me.

  • Ignore my last msg. It sucked. As I was trying to say. There's nothing wrong with the new features. It just makes the game easier to play and from wherever you damn well please. I personally cannot wait.

  • Oh for crying out loud. Look. D&D is still a table game. So what, they've added digital media. For all you bitching whingers out there and everyone who isn't bitching but are simply "concerned over the new features"

  • it never needed changing,2nd edition was and still is all I need. 3rd edition..so lame

  • Actually I'm not even angry anymore, it just makes me very sad to see people deciding over the fate of D&D that obviously don't even know to fucking play the game.

Plus, I can't believe they let two absolute morons make this presentation...they are so bad, they're not funny at all and they're not professional at all. On the other, to present the greatest shit in history of D&D that nobody would ever want can't be an easy job, too!
