  • Hi Ralfy, how do these stack up against the 5 you reviewed in number 47?

  • @Islwynpaul

    decent but different !

  • Sir, I appreciate your decision for positivity. It creates a much better atmosphere for enjoyment. I love all of your videos that I've seen, but as a latecomer I'm not able to see them all. I wonder if you've reviewed Monkey Shoulder and could point me in the direction of that review. Also, do you recommend any particularly types of food that compliment whiskies? I was thinking of making an evening of whisky and if any food may potentially improve the experience it would be very welcome.

    Thanks

  • @laurence383

no MS review planned, but a few whisky/food recipes along later !

  • Hey Ralfy ,

Great reviews you have on here , i pretty much watch them all . But I have a question .

Im looking for a single malt , any single malt , just 1 that i can drink now and then , something easy to drink , but i cant really find one that i think is really great . Ive tried a lot already .

i was wondering about buying a bottle of bushmills the 21 y old madeira finish .

    any opinion bout it ?

especially if the bottle is worth the price . At 120 euros a bottle its expensive .

    cheers .

would not be my choice ! . . . try Old Pulteney 17yo

  • You've been talking little about your traveling around the world. Do you travel anymore? It would be great to hear some stories, even though you're not doing traveling vlogs but still, I bet they'd be interesting.

  • "Why bother with the smell and taste of quality whisky? Because, the quality of what we engage with during our lives assists in defining the quality of our life." True and wise words Ralfy!!! :)

  • @ralfystuff Cheers, I still think Black Bottle is outstanding value for money, a great wee dram.

  • Ralfy said he wont do a review on bells blended. Who ever wants to see a bells blended review please tell Ralfy and tell we want a review on bells blended!

  • ralfy i like to see you review bells blened. I think bells blened is good whiskey.

  • Ralfy when you bought Whyte & Mackay 13 up I went... yeeees!

love it. Seems to be the only heavily sherried scotch monster...

It is like drinking liquid dates! It does not seem to have any peat in it (or very little) and this is why I love this Scotch. In particular because it is different to all the peaty or peated Scotch of which there is far more of. There is only the Grants Sherry & ale Cask

Kudos to Waitrose who have just bought this as part of their new range.
