A funny clip from Only Fools and Horses (Time on our Hands). Albert wants to help Rodney out of the state he's in. He talks about it to Del, but must refer back to the war, which Del doesn't want him to do. But then, Albert's reply and diversion is classic! Haha, great!

  • Thumbs up if you are watching this in 1944 while on the ship to Normandy

  • Albert - "Now in those day the crew was full of stress and fear"

Del - "Yeah I'm not supprised when they say you walking up the gangplank" LOL!

  • love it !!the best !

  • brilliant comeback!!

  • @conorsmitheire The comic relief special is his last episode although I thought this was his last episode as the comic relief special may not count as part of the official only fools storyline as it was set before this episode and it contained references to other programes David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst starred in such as a touch of frost and goodnight sweetheart. After the comic relief special Buster appeared in pantomine between 1997 and 1998 according to wikipedia.

  • @7039TS yeah lol!! oh yeah i seen that comic relief special, was that alberts last ever appearence then? did buster do anything else before, during or even after his last ofah episode? i know he died in 1999

  • @Natureboywhooo I liked it when Grandad unscrewed the wrong chandelier causing it to smash to the floor LOL! The same thing happened to John Sullivan's father which is where he got the inspiration for the classic scene, although it wasn't easy so easy to film that scene as according to various interviews with the actors and producers it had to had to happen in one take and David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst were threatened with the sack by the then producer Ray Butt.

  • @conorsmitheire I think his last episode was also his funniest as he can't tell the difference between coffee and gravy when Raquel's parents come round for dinner LOL!

Although this is his last episode there was another episode after this in which Buster was also in it. It was shown in 1997 and was a comic relief special in which Del, Rodney, Albert, Raquel and Damien are in the flat and Albert talks about poverty in Africa and then Del and Rodney ask viewers for donations.

  • its funny cause that's albers last time talking about the war! buster's laste OFAH episode

  • I love it at 0:16 - 0:21
