This video focuses on recent events on ground in the ongoing battle to save the Kimberley. Featuring shocking footage of police force used to push through the blockade, the 'lock on' that began the successful 30 day blockade and interviews at the protest with Traditional Custodians and other protesters including the Traditional Lawman for the area, a shire councilor, musician John Butler and many others. Produced by Paul Bell (feral films) this video is a must see for anyone who wants to understand the community effort to stop the proposed Gas Hub at James Price Point in the Kimberley, West Australia.
NWA said it best.
Woodside is a name, who are these faceless plundering people working with our disgusting government (that I never pledged allegiance too) to create more growth of dirty money for there greedy life styles.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT!

@hearts0ngs I read your comment - you called WPL 'greedy'. That's something a 12 year old would say, so your attempt to now take the high ground and behave like an adult is amusing to say the least.

@tony2119 Please go back and read my comment that you are attempting to respond to. I never said I use zero electricity, rather that I use it wisely and not wastefully.
I can see you are a shill for the establishment, and that's ok, I guess it takes all types. Farewell!

@mzedong001 Sorry, but renewables are a fact. The problem is we are living on ancient sunlight that was stored by the trees and marine organisms that over millions of years became coal oil and gas. They are non renewable. Other forms of renewable include coppasing woodland, solar, geothermal, bio mass and hydro/tidal or wave power. All of these are dependent only on the sun shining. HTH.
originalboondi 7 months ago
@originalboondi there are no renewable energies. There are energies we have permission to use, and energies we do not have permission to use.

so people of the world, stop putting bums and retards into high positions of political power.
mzedong001 7 months ago
people who think they can get away with doing something like what they´re doing in Australia, are delusional. Bums do this kind of thing - ruin environmental sites and so on because that´s what bums do.
mzedong001 7 months ago
@originalboondi Oh and ps. The electricity comes from a hydro scheme and is 100% renewable.

@tony2119 First, you don't even live in the same country as me, so invalid assumption. So you no longer need to feel any shame, which is a result for you. 2nd. My pc is 100% recycled so afraid again your wrong. 3rd I spent my whole life recycling everything I needed. I grow most of my vegies and fruit. I use very little electricity, no tv, Led lighting throughout my home, wood burner for heating. Practically self suficient for a lot of things. So again, call me a fool. = 0 )..xxxxx!!

@originalboondi You are so utterly clueless that I am ashamed to live in the same suburb as you. Your computer, clown, is partly made of metal. Did you click your fingers, count to three, and magically make those metal components appear? The necessary raw materials were mined somewhere on the planet, incurring environmental damage, and your use of your computer is therefore complicit in that mining. Ask yourself fool - why would 'evil'companies mine if they didn't have anyone to sell to?
tony2119 7 months ago
@hearts0ngs Listen to you - 'greedy corporations'! They are businesses, just like your local butcher and bakery, that exist to provide to their consumers which just happen to be you and I. You cannot live in a country like Australia and drive a car, take flights overseas, and use the internet for godsakes and then disclaim any responsibility for companies like WPL that exist soley because you live an energy intensive lifestyle. Frugally? Bickering on the internet and consuming power!? No idea
tony2119 7 months ago
@tony2119 You make the basic mistake of assuming that the Environment is somehow separate from development. The environment is everything. Without our harvesting of the environment, there is no economy, no development, and no profit. In your eyes, all that matters is money. Well thats just bits of metal and paper. And your telling me that paper and metal is more important than the theft of land that does not belong to the corporations. Why should the Aboriginals have to suffer yet again. Thief.

YOU ARE RIGHT IN FIGHTING THIS ISSUE....INDUSTRY IS NOT THE ANSWER TO THE WORLD PROBLEMS! ENERGY SHOULD BE FREE TO EVERYONE, AND CAN BE MADE WITHOUT DESTROYING THE LAST REMAINING WILDERNESS OF THE WORLD. WHO ARE THE POLICE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT????? THE PEOPLE OR INDUSTRY???? THIS IS INSANITY!!!! & TOTALLY WRONG!!!!!!!
ildiko1pa 7 months ago
@tony2119 You don't have to go to such extremes; the choice is not between high energy use, and zero energy use (your 'living in a cave' idea). I live in a flat in the suburbs, but I'm as frugal as possible with energy use, and resource use. I use second hand objects and clothes, etc. I drive only when necessary. I grow food in my back yard when weather permits...you don't have to live in a cave to care about the earth, and to not want it raped and torn up by greedy corporations.

I hope they succeed!

@originalboondido you clowns have any idea of how expensive the costline is......there is plenty of room for development and the environment. get off your computer, turn your lights off, stop flying, and move to a cave if you have a problem with energy and development

@hearts0ngs and at Max our host.
This is shocking. Police absolutley abused thier office. Max is correct when he says these people are psychopaths, who want to destroy the ecosystem. Shame on these greedy little maggots. Love and peace to all....

One more crime against Mother Earth, that has to be stopped.

It's criminal to tear up the Land like this. It's against Natural Law. Furthermore, the police, and plant construction workers, were UNLAWFULLY TRESSPASSING on ancient Aboriginal Land, without the consent of the Traditional Owners. We have to take a stand to protect this beautiful part our our Country (I'm a whitefella btw!) White, black, we can all live in peace in this great Land, but we must not let the bottomless greed of corporations destroy it.
hearts0ngs 7 months ago 2
To stop this, we need to make people care. If enough people don't care, nothing is going to change. Regular protests are not enough; more people in the West, and thoughout Australia, need to take a stand on this. I'm from Melbourne, and I wish to help also.
hearts0ngs 7 months ago
I will also pass this video on and share to all I know. It can be stopped if we all help make it stop.
