Presented at Emporia State University's Summer 2009 eLearning Institute. You've undoubtedly heard of or perhaps utilized such social networking/Web2.0 resources as Twitter, Ning, Facebook, Pbwiki, Delicious, and Wordpress, but may not be aware of how these applications can be used in the context of eLearning. This session will explore each of these applications and present relevant research regarding their efficacy when used in online and face-to-face instruction, and how faculty might consider integrating them into their teaching.
