I done the proper version the other day for the 1st time ever i thought it was impossible. Though in the 3rd zone go down on the 1st arena it'll take you to the bonus room this is the best way helped me get more continues. This boss wernt too hard but i found it didnt give me as many decent weapons as before. I thouht id have to do them all again at this stage.

@Groficator he's not cheating this is the arcade version on ps2/xbox/xbox360 I think (it looks a hell of alot better than the snes one) and in that one you get as many lives as you press start button.
