The corners of the screen are dark/purple because it's a purple comet.

where is red star mario when you need him? That would make this level so much less annoying!!!

i loved this game, but i must say the graphics could have been way better, like the toadship in the water, notics the water is flowing through it, and when you fight that rock monster, when it forms it looks like a bunch of rocks fly into a black hole then a monster appears, but those are my opinions

this level was so hard i did not die but it nearly took me all night to find the last 3 they were on the top of the light house and the rest was hard thankgod that i done it!

The corners are suppose to be dark. It happened to me to. Its cuz the PURPLE comet is in orbit. And it happened to me on another comet mission.
