Wow what a change. My family is from Venice and as a kid in the 60's I remember going by these canals. They were dirty, overgrown and neglected for years. This is amazing. What a complete new charm to the community there. My grandmother paid $8,000 for her home in the 50's, sold it for $300,000 in the 80"s and its worth over 1million now, for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom little home. New owners leveled it. Lots of memories and history were razed on Marco Place.
