hi, budwin, glad you like the posting - the blues notes in E are quite variable but usually include the E minor scale - E F# G A B C D E (even though the chords are still major chords : E major, A major and B major or B seventh) - but people also often add in some of the E major scale notes - G# and C# - and then I also put in the occasional note from the Eastern scales - eg. in phrases like - E F G# A G# F E or - B C D# E D# C B - cheers, martin.
