Having now watched a number of Dawit's videos, I have to think that his voice and signing style go quite well with the sounds that he gets out of the krar. Both are quite unmatched, as far as I have been able to determine. He is quite the innovator. It is partly because of him that I have decided to learn to play the krar myself. (Don't expect to ever get that good, and there is the problem of having to make my own instrument.) He is a good advertisement for what you can do with it.
