hey i watched alot of your vids and theyre helpful my grandma just had her whole colon and part of the small intestant removed because of UC and shes going to need a pouch for at least 3 months and poss. a perm. pouch so i was wondering if you knew what the odds were of having to have a perm one or not the doc said today it really depends on the person so i was just wondering what the odds were if you knew

@OhDallasWon Like your doctor said, it depends on the person. I couldn't tell you what the odds are, as I've never heard any. It depends on how well the surgery goes, if there are any complications, and even the person's anatomy. The surgeon would have a better idea in this specific case.

Hey, i like your vids . umm i dk if i have it, but for some reason i get extreme cramps sometimes in the night, and i get constant fatigue, i loose weight EXTREMELY fast. and on top of that, i cant eat like i used to. like its hard to swallow. could i have this?

You should check things out with a gastroenterologist. The swallowing problem should not be related to ulcerative colitis, which just affects the colon. The main symptoms of UC are bloody and frequent diarrhea.
