these two children of God teach me more about God than any a-dolt could (that i have met, at least). Young ones (or "youngins") are truly humble and know the way the truth and the life. sadly, the dolts of iniquity tend to talk down on them and/or ignore them (or worse). i thank the Most High, our Father in heaven, for blessing me with a brother and sister so humble and patient. i pray more members of the body of Christ could be so humble - including me. Lord willing, it will be.
Please, read the following words and pretend you never saw them before. contemplate the meaning of each word as you read it. ask our Father in heaven to open your eyes to His will before reading the Holy Scriptures always.
5 - And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 - But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 - Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
40 - For he that is not against us is on our part.
41 - For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
42 - And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
1 - Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 - It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3 - Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
1 John 5
5 - Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 - This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7 - For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 - And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
9 - If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
27 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 - My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 - I and my Father are one.
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, "Raca," shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, "Thou fool," shall be in danger of hell fire.
9 - And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 - As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, "Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And God said, "Let there be light:" and there was light.
remember, Jesus walked on water, fed many with little, and cast out demons (to mention so few):
Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
