It all began with unrequited love...

Anana Gatton has just recently lost her mother, Nalani. While moving into her mother's house, which she has inherited, she meets Traum. An immortal sorcerer who claims to have owned her mother, and by rights, her now as well. Anana stopped believing in immortal sorcerers and magic a long time ago, but Traum has a contract signed by her ancestor saying one of her descendants always belong to him. And there's only one way to void the terms of the contract.
