Ripple Star has been enveloped in Dark Matter! It's up to Kirby and the gang to restore the Crystal by collecting shards scattered throughout the cosmos! Join me, UniversalGiant, as we travel from planet-to-planet in search of the crystal shards!

Crystal Shards: Pop Star 1 (3/3)

We begin our playthrough by setting the stage for the plot, learning the controls including Kirby's copy ability and taking on the first level, making new friends along the way!

This is my first time doing a "let's play" commentary, so I apologize if I sound a little nervous or repetitive. I'll try to get all of the butterflies out as the playthrough progresses! Also, I really appreciate feedback, so please tell me any suggestions you have and let me know if you like these videos!

Yup, this is live commentary. I have no way of recording audio output directly from my laptop, so I record game audio and commentary from my laptop's mic at the same time. The sound quality is a lot better than I expected.

It was tempting to just spam the fireworks ability the rest of the way, but I decided it would be better to cycle through as many combinations as I can. We'll get to another one of my favorites in the next video.

I may not be right, but I think what you're doing  is actually called a Let's Play.

As for your going so far, you add an interesting tone to the cutscenes.

Gameplay: You've played before, obviously. Nice job not spoiling the 100 percent thing completely. The only thing I have a slight problem with is the Waddle Doo fight. I know it's easier with Copy Powers, but I hope to see a battle with NO powers sometime this walkthrough (LP, as I would call it).
